Audi Forum in Neckarsulm
2012 was the most successful year for the Audi Forum Neckarsulm since it opened in 2005, with a total of 258,855 visitors, a record 37,794 people who picked up new cars and more conferences and events than ever before. Visitors can experience the history of the Neckarsulm site at the Audi Forum. Each day, as many as 150 people pick up their new Audi. The company also presents a broad range of car upgrade and customization choices. Since it opened on June 1, 2005, roughly 1.4 million people have visited the brand and experience center. It offers a versatile setting for readings, meetings, conferences and concerts, from classical to pop. “Audi young and fun” has been offering children and youths a wide range of games and edutainment since 2012.
The three floors of the Audi Forum Neckarsulm feature fascinating architecture, a clear design idiom and a stylish, exclusive atmosphere. The width of the building with the central ellipse is ideal for a variety of events, from an Annual General Meeting or business meeting to a private meeting for two or a reception. Expandable conference rooms equipped with modern technology, a film theater and the large ellipse offer an appropriate setting for conventions and meetings. A total of 740 events were held at the Audi Forum in 2012. Some event highlights in 2012 were the “Technology Up Close and Personal” campaign day with the Heidelberg Historic rally making an interim stop, the Tim Bendzko concert attended by 1,500 people, the Audi Star Talk with Michael Ballack and the cabaret “Kienzle & Die Frotzler.”
45,796 visitors and 36,953 customers picking up their new car took a factory tour in 2012. Six tours are currently offered. There are also a number of culinary offerings. The restaurant Nuvolari provides an inviting and relaxing setting for meals. It opens both to the piazza on the outside and to the forum on the inside.
