The history of Audi at the Aurangabad site
Skoda Auto India Private Limited (SAIPL) is established.
Skoda begins car production.
Audi decides to produce cars at SAIPL in Aurangabad. Production of the Audi A6 Sedan begins in September 2007.
The list of models built in Aurangabad is expanded to include the Audi A4 Sedan*. Production officially begins in September.
In March, the Audi A6* model series is expanded to include the
3.0 TFSI gasoline engine. Production of the entry-level version of the Audi A4* with a 1.8-liter TFSI engine begins in July.
Audi expands the lineup in Aurangabad to include the Audi Q5* with 2.0 TFSI and 3.0 TDI engine versions.
Audi begins production of the new Audi A6 in 2.8 FSI, 3.0 TFSI quattro, 2.0 TDI and 3.0 TDI versions.
Audi introduces the Audi Q7* with a 3.0 TDI engine.
Audi introduces the Audi Q3* with a 2.0 TDI engine in both quattro and front-wheel drive versions.
Audi begins production of the Audi Q7 4.2 TDI in August.
