Perfect shots will win an Audi A5 Cabriolet
- Audi is again Presenting Sponsor of UniCredit Ladies German Open
- Cabriolet is main prize, R8 Spyder hole-in-one prize on hole 15
- Tournament is a pinnacle in Audi’s extensive golf commitment
For as much as the fifth time Audi will be presenting the Ladies German Open at Golfpark Gut Häusern in May. The prizes underscore the high prestige of this golf tournament. Audi is giving the winner an A5 Cabriolet and making an R8 Spyder available for the perfect shot on the 15th hole. In addition, the car maker is equipping the shuttle fleet and making it possible for some of the female golfers to enjoy a particularly sporty week.
Golfers who do not wish to part with the sporty open air experience again have to deliver perfect strokes during the four playing days. In addition to the organizer’s prize money in the amount of 350,000 euros, Audi is giving the winner an Audi A5 Cabriolet. Those achieving a hole-in-one success on Hole 15 will even receive an Audi R8 Spyder worth more than 160,000 euros as a prize. “These prizes underscore the high prestige enjoyed by the Ladies German Open in AUDI AG’s golf program,” says Clemens Lee.
Other attractions have firmly established themselves in the program of the German visit of the Ladies European Tour (LET) as well. Audi is equipping the shuttle service with 24 high-grade vehicles and is featured on the grounds with its own golf terminal during the week of the tournament. Besides a selection of current models there will be daily interview sessions with the players awaiting the visitors here. On “Players Night” Audi will be receiving the guests in its own Audi Lounge.
The Ladies German Open is one of the pinnacles of AUDI AG’s successful golf commitment that in 2012 again extends to both professional and amateur sport. Audi is a co-sponsor and official vehicle partner of the Berenberg Bank Masters that will be held at Golfclub Wörthsee on the outskirts of Munich at the end of June.
For amateurs, the 22nd season of the Audi quattro Cup, which has evolved into one of the most popular tournament series worldwide, is starting these days. In 2011, nearly 80,000 players from more than 50 nations participated in the Cup. At stake in this year’s qualification tournaments, which are held at the invitation of regional Audi partners as “foursomes with selected drive,” is the chance to participate in the world finale in South Africa.
