Audi opens doors to more fans of Germany’s famous mouse

Germany’s most famous mouse is coming to Audi and kids in the region can hardly wait: The number of registrations for the open house have been tremendous. Now Audi will more doors in Ingolstadt on Wednesday, October 3, 2012, to fans of the cartoon character known simply as “The Mouse.”An exciting supporting program with music, craft projects and discovery tours will take place at the Audi Forum Ingolstadt. And the most exciting part: the real “Mouse” from TV will pay a visit.
A large and colorful “playground” awaits the kids in the Customer Center at Audi Forum Ingolstadt from 8:15 a.m. to 6 p.m. – with an entertaining program of events that includes magic shows, bouncing castles, face-painting and live music by DONIkkls. Activities in the Audi museum mobile present kids with the exciting history of the car with the four rings. And these five winning Audi DTM drivers will be waiting to meet the kids: Filipe Albuquerque, Miguel Molina, Adrien Tambay, Mike Rockenfeller and Timo Scheider. Young racing fans can also win an unforgettable drive with these DTM pilots on the company’s own test track.
On the holiday celebrating German unification, Audi is for the first time opening up doors to kids and families that normally remain secret. On October 3, the biggest employer in the Ingolstadt region will present kids with a playful demonstration of the development of car. A total of 800 guests from all generations will be able to experience the fascinating world of the automobile in the Technical Development division. Due to high demand, these slots have already been filled. In addition, a diverse range of fun activities await fans of “The Mouse” at the Audi Forum.
The Show with the Mouse (“Die Sendung mit der Maus”) is one of the most successful programs on German television. It has been produced by ARD since 1971 and is always broadcast on Sunday mornings at 11:30.The open house is an initiative of The Show with the Mouse and is taking place for the second time on October 3.
