Audi’s golf commitment in 2014
- 24th season of the Audi quattro Cup for amateurs worldwide
- Partnership with German Golf Association (DGV)
- Support of Süddeutsche Zeitung Business Cup
Golfing under the banner of the four rings: Audi is again featured with an extensive commitment in golf this year, centered on the 24th season of the worldwide Audi quattro Cup. In addition, the company is continuing the partnerships with the German Golf Association and the Süddeutsche Zeitung Business Cup.
The partnership with the German Golf Association (DGV) that has existed since 2008 will be continued. At least until 2015, the premium brand from Ingolstadt will be making several cars available to the officials of the association, which has a membership of more than 600,000, as its official vehicle partner. In addition, the four rings are featured on the DGV membership cards.
Two other tournament series are held under the symbol of the four rings as well. Regional Audi partners invite female amateurs to the Audi Ladies Cup. In this tournament series, which has been held since 1995, the ladies take to the green at least six times this year at about 120 German golf clubs. For the tenth time in succession, Audi supports the Süddeutsche Zeitung Business Golf Cup. The season will start at the Wittelsbacher Golfclub Neuburg-Rohrenfeld on May 27. A total of 15 one-day tournaments offer an ideal opportunity to intensify business relationships and to establish new contacts. Additional information is available at www.sz-golf.de.
A spectacular highlight awaits golfers off the normal courses. Twelve holes have to be tackled year by year along the legendary downhill ski course in Kitzbühel in the ‘Streif Attack,’ which Audi will again be accompanying as the main sponsor in 2014.
